Further training from home with e-learning

This is a busy time for us at Mauth.CC! Many of our customers are facing major organizational and economic challenges in the current situation. Above all, companies with a large number of training programs want to be able to offer these in the Corona crisis continue to offer.

As an e-learning agency and experts for digital learning we are currently working on developing special training plans for a key customer in the medical technology sector. These are aimed at employees who normally work in the field and now have to work from home and will be available as e-learning courses in the Learning Management System (LMS) implemented.

"How did you manage to realize this at such short notice?"

First, the customer provided us with materials for their face-to-face training courses. We reviewed the materials and created a digital training plan based on them. Our client operates in over 30 countries, so we need to ensure that our approach is as simple and effective as possible so that it can be easily adopted by every other country in the organization.

In the next step, we clarify the schedule with our customer and implement the first of a total of eight modules of the training plan in the existing learning management system within a very short space of time.

The sequence of a training plan is as follows:

  1. The sales employees receive a notification on the first day that they are invited to participate in an online course have been invited. This notification contains a direct link with access to the course.
  2. The learning materials are made available to users in the LMS.
  3. Participants confirm via an electronic signature that they have read and edited the documents before taking part in a webinar can participate.
  4. The materials presented in the webinar are then uploaded to the learning management system together with other tasks.
  5. Afterwards, the participants have to complete a short quiz to show that they have understood the Learning content and understood.
  6. Now you can work on the other modules of the training plan.

"But what happens if learners are unable to attend the LIVE webinar?"

We have ensured that the webinar is recorded and the recording uploaded to the learning management system to ensure that the materials - and the entire learning journey - are available in the future.

By using our media didactic expertise and our digital learning platforms, we can put together an effective digital training plan for our client in a short space of time. This initiative was very well received in the first country and is being implemented for the client in dozens of other countries.

Conclusion

Developing an effective digital learning program doesn't always have to mean embarking on a long process and designing highly interactive, robust and visually sophisticated modules. Effective digital learning sometimes also means using existing materials, selecting them didactically, systematizing them and ensuring that even under extreme conditions learning is fun and employees become fans of digital learning.
